Empowering Digital Natives:
A School Project with Pro Juventute

The Challenge:
Social media and digital platforms shape the way kids and teens interact with the world. But navigating this space isn’t always easy: likes, comments, and constant feedback loops can impact self-esteem and mental well-being. Pro Juventute, a Swiss NGO, wanted to equip schools with engaging, age-appropriate content within their online learning platform to help students better understand digital media’s effects. They needed a series of explainer videos that were visually aligned with their existing visual identity, accessible across multiple platforms, and available in three languages.

Our Solution:
We developed a set of 6 explainer videos, each around 2 minutes long, designed specifically for students aged 10–14. The videos break down key aspects of social media and gaming in a way that’s clear, engaging, and empowering. Using a mix of live-action elements, motion design, and smart visual storytelling, we ensured the content felt fresh, relevant, and informative - without being patronizing.

Impact:
These videos are a toolkit for meaningful discussions in classrooms. By making complex topics like digital validation, self-worth, and online interactions accessible, we’re helping young users critically engage with their online world. Teachers can integrate the videos into their curriculum, students can relate to them on YouTube, and the message sticks. Because in the end, social media should be a tool for connection, not a measure of self-worth.
